Leadership Education Advocacy & Development L.E.A.D. Program

Leadership Education Advocacy & Development L.E.A.D. Program

The L.E.A.D. program focuses on the investment of skills associated to our client's growth in self-sufficiency through self-advocacy, etiquette, legal rights, education and other trainings. L.E.A.D. serves as a portal program for clients to navigate government and private agency systems to achieve family stabilization and ultimate reunification.

Through the Child Welfare Specialist program, Primed for Life assists families in collaboration with the State of Illinois. The CWS program is as a preventative program to avoid disruption in families by providing resources, support and referrals.

Amplified Fathers

Birth Parent Mentors

Amplified Fathers is a uniquely designed exclusive support program for fathers who are navigating government and private agencies systems. Fathers receive mentorship, support, advocacy and educational resources. The Amplified Fathers program serves all fathers from the age of 17 years and up.

Birth Parent Mentors

Birth Parent Mentors

Birth Parents Mentors are peer mentors who have experienced involvement with DCFS and the juvenile court system.  The Birth Parent Mentor program provides training, guidance, and support to birth parents currently involved with DCFS and the juvenile court process.  The program assists birth parent(s) who are working toward reunification by providing birth parents with the knowledge and understanding to achieve family permanency.

Partnering with Parents (PWP)

Partnering with Parents (PWP)

Partnering With Parents (PWP) is a parent-driven program, in partnership with 

DCFS, POS and Community Based Providers (CBP) staff.  PWP works towards a family centered, trauma informed, and strength-based approach.  Principles of the Core Practice Model are used to support safety, permanency and wellbeing outcomes for families. State-wide Chapters meet on a monthly basis.
